Contractual ABA Technician(s) – Autism Program

This position performs a variety of direct service functions for persons served who are enrolled in Autism program services, including services for adults and children.

Essential Functions

1. Directly supervises consumers during program activities. Delivers care to persons served with a range of physical and mental health-related disabilities.

2. Carries out daily program plans as prescribed through the individual plan of service of the person served and as assigned by the supervisor.

3. Assists persons served with the administration of medication as prescribed.

4. Assists with the preparation of daily programming, organizing and assembling materials, and proper cleanup and storage of materials.

5. Must be able to physically assist person served regarding personal care needs.

6. Works in office and community based settings.

7. Required to travel within the county.

8. May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood, and other potentially infectious bodily fluids and materials.

COMPENSATION – Up to 28 hours per week at $14.12 to $17.67 per hour based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduation or equivalent.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

 

Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – Adult Team

This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to adults. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. The position may also provide DBT program services such as individual therapy, skills group, and after hours phone coaching. An understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills is beneficial.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

 

Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – DBT Team

This position works as a member of the DBT Treatment Team providing clinical services to individuals enrolled in DBT Services. Provides individual DBT Therapy, Co-leads structured skills training groups, provided phone skills coaching to DBT Participants as part of after-hours rotation, attend weekly team consultation meetings, participation in Person Centered Planning, complete documentation as required. Must already have completed DBT training (2 day Skills Training and 5 day Comprehensive DBT Training), and have an understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan. Comprehensive DBT Treatment training required.

Valid Michigan driver’s license required.

 

 

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

This position is responsible for managing a caseload of children and adults with autism and/or other developmental disabilities. Supervise ABA staff for the consumers with consideration of dignity and privacy. Monitor the effectiveness of skill-building interventions utilizing ABA for children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Conduct developmental assessments (VBMAPP, ABBLS, AFLS) to determine individual’s level of functioning and create treatment plans. Conduct assessments every 6 months and review treatment every 3 months. Develop and implement treatment goals, as well as monitor individual progress. Conduct behavioral assessments to determine the function of behaviors, and develop behavioral plans that address the function of identified behaviors. Use research to assist in developing effective and approved programs based on each child’s needs. Monitor client’s progress, train ABA staff, train and educate parents on ABA techniques and procedures. Organize and monitor center activities, as well as supervise ABA staff. Provide training for new staff.

COMPENSATION – 40 hours per week, $104,000 per year based on 50% direct Medicaid services and 50% indirect (non-billable) services.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in a mental health related field from an accredited institution with specialized training and one year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Valid Michigan driver’s license required.

 

 

Janitorial / Housekeeping

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of janitorial duties at the Lapeer County CMH Maple Grove facility. Janitorial duties and schedule may vary depending on facility and programming needs. Duties will be assigned by appropriate supervision.

COMPENSATION – Up to 29 hours per week at $12.70 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Janitorial experience preferred.

Valid Michigan driver’s license required.
