Contractual Behavior Therapist

This position performs testing, interviews, data collection and therapeutic sessions and will provide diagnosing and behavioral plan development for children, adolescents and adults with mental health disabilities and cognitive impairments.

Essential Functions

Communicates with families by providing/receiving input and feedback.

Develops individual behavior plans, amending and updating as indicated.

Provides clinical consultation/training to other staff as required for behavior plan implementation.

Develops and maintains effective working relationships with other community agencies.

Completes clinical documentation in a timely manner, consistent with agency, state, and federal requirements.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.

Licensure from the State of Michigan in Psychology, NSCBT, ACBS other related certification preferred.

Six months or more of experience developing behavior plans.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

Contractual SIS Assessor

This professional level position is responsible for ensuring assigned Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) Interviews are completed in a timely, reliable, and respectful manner that is consistent with both agency philosophy and standards as well as consistent with American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) standards and validity pertaining to the Supports Intensity Scale tool. The SIS Interviewer is responsible for scheduling, rendering service, and completing any related documentation within the established timelines.
Essential Functions
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
SIS Interviews
Participate in SIS training and remain current regarding AAIDD standards associated with SIS.
Maintain a minimum reliability status of "Qualified" in IRQRs conducted by an AAIDD recognized SIS Trainer
Conduct a SIS assessment for each individual receiving services in conjunction with the Person Centered Planning process.
Provide interpretation and analysis of SIS results.
Attend the State annual meeting.
Participate in quarterly meetings with Region 10.
Participate in quarterly phone trainings with MORC.
Provide consultation on the development of the Individual Plan of Service (IPOS) that incorporates the results of the SIS assessment.
Conducts SIS interviews with or more respondents (may include self-advocates) that are familiar with the individual receiving services.

Customers include but are not limited to: Consumer, families, and guardians; Funding Sources; Providers; Employees. All customer related services and reports are delivered within specific timeframes as established by standards of practice. All customer related services are coordinated and meet the individual 's needs and expectations. Services are rendered in a dependable and reliable manner. All interaction with customers are conducted with dignity and respect
Performance Measurement and Evaluation Criteria:
Successfully maintain status on an annual basis as an AAIDD recognized Interviewer via Interrater Reliability Qualification Review
Participate in all required Periodic Drift Reviews and utilize feedback to maximize reliability, customer satisfaction, and minimize drift on an individual level and as a team member
Compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, and standards associated with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Employees are aware of and comply with the continuing education and mandatory training requirements for the position
Ability to perform the major responsibilities and essential activities of the position
Compensation: Fee for Service / Assessment based
Education: Bachelor Degree in a human services related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
Experience: At least one year of experience with individuals that have developmental or intellectual disabilities.

 

Contractual ABA Technician(s) – Autism Program

This position performs a variety of direct service functions for persons served who are enrolled in Autism program services, including services for adults and children.

Essential Functions

1. Directly supervises consumers during program activities. Delivers care to persons served with a range of physical and mental health-related disabilities.

2. Carries out daily program plans as prescribed through the individual plan of service of the person served and as assigned by the supervisor.

3. Assists persons served with the administration of medication as prescribed.

4. Assists with the preparation of daily programming, organizing and assembling materials, and proper cleanup and storage of materials.

5. Must be able to physically assist person served regarding personal care needs.

6. Works in office and community based settings.

7. Required to travel within the county.

8. May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood, and other potentially infectious bodily fluids and materials.

COMPENSATION – Up to 28 hours per week at $15.30 to $21.03 per hour based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduation or equivalent.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level –Children’s Intake Team

This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to children. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. 1-2 years of experience with children and families ages 3-18 years old preferred.

An understanding of PECFAS and CAFAS screenings, DSM-5 diagnosis criteria, Bio-psychosocial assessments, Trauma Informed and Treatment planning is required.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – Adult Team

This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to adults. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. The position may also provide DBT program services such as individual therapy, skills group, and after hours phone coaching. An understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills is beneficial.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan.

Valid Michigan driver's license required.

 

Contractual IS Support – Information Services Support Specialist

This position is responsible for providing technical support to all users and to assist with the maintenance of all computer systems and hardware utilized by CMH services.

Essential Functions: Provide help desk support to end users, respond and route issues as necessary, provide support for all agency software systems, provides training for use of computers and information systems, create and update user training tutorials, assist in performing daily computer operations, installation of hardware and software on workstations, track inventory, and compile and prepare reports.

Skills and abilities include: ability to problem solve, identify solutions and resolve technical issues, the ability to write and speak effectively, self-motivated, ability to maintain working relationships with staff and outside providers, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.

Compensation – $18.56 at entry up to $23.20 per hour up to 28 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS: CompTIA A+ certification or other IT related certification preferred. Associate’s degree in computer-related field preferred. One to two years of technical experience with computers and equipment. Experience working in a network environment. Lived experience with behavioral health issues preferred.

AVAILABILITY: Monday through Friday, 28 hours per week. Valid Michigan driver's license required.
